Spill Risks from your OPERATIONS


Fuel & Oil spills from vehicles/ plant/ equipment, storage of fluids, solvents and chemicals and accidental spills can all pose an issue to workers and the environment if they are released are released. Being trained and equipped to respond is vital!


ALL Fluid Spills have the potential to impact ourselves, the environment and the surrounding infrastructure …..

Oils and Chemicals - fire, explosion, burns, reactions, vapours, pollution of soil, air & water

Foodstuffs – slippages, odours – milk in the environment is worse than an oil spill !!

Body Fluids  - can lead to contamination and are toxic 

So attending to spills of fluid is vitally important, with a specific plan of action and the right resources


In the e-learning training program, we provide from our experience the basic Steps to Spill Response, so that a level of training can be provided. Reference is also made to the importance of the Company’s Spill Plan 

 

There are many types of spills and each Spill Type may require a specific spill response. In the training, we look at these various Types and provide an appropriate suggested guide to that response



*Accredited  RIIRIS202E - Respond to Site Based Spill Course  Agenda ( 3.5 to 4hours) $250 + GST

* Minimum of five students. Ask about bulk pricing for  larger groups!




*For Team Leaders/Supervisors, Onsite/Depot Managers and HSE Officers, who may be required to obtain the skills to manage a major/ hazardous spill event that may occur and help protect employees and the environment.


Knowledge Questions will be asked throughout the course to check understanding and a Certificate of Completion will be issued.
